Christianity was something I learned as a child, but a relationship with my Lord and Savior came when I was 19. I was a wreck when Christ saved me. I was a Senior in high school when we got married. Being a 17 year old kid, I had no clue on how to be a husband. Because of my actions, the first couple of years of my marriage were brutal. Here I was at age 19, broke, I was a regular drug and alcohol user, and about to be divorced. I was at a point in my life were I was contemplating ending it all.In 2002 my boss, invited me to his church (San Jacinto Assembly) and my childhood memories that my mother taught me about Christ Became real to me. I gave my life to Christ and laid my marriage, my heart my soul IN him. I repented of my sins and CHRIST SAVED ME!
I have been transformed into new life In him. My wife and I are going on 11 years happily married with two kids and one on the way. I am now currently the Pastor of the Hispanic Congregation of SJA. To be a pastor at the very same Church that Christ Saved me is truly a work of God and a huge blessing to us.
