Missionettes

What is Missionettes?

Missionettes is a tool used by the local church to introduce girls to Jesus Christ and to train them to follow Him. It is a place for girls in the church to invite their friends to meet Jesus, gather with other girls who love God, and be mentored by a trained leader who cares about them. Missionettes was founded in 1956 and is based on the Titus 2 principal of women mentoring girls.

What is its purpose?

  • To win girls to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance
  • To help develop girls spiritually and mentally and teach them to obey everything Jesus commanded
  • To provide encouragement, support, and accountability through lasting Christian relationships
  • To provide an environment for girls to develop their gifts and abilities
  • To acquaint them with the Great Commission of Jesus Christ our Lord
